AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DISTINCTLY D'ARCY
IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,232.47 FOR FURNITURE FOR THE PARKS AND
LEISURE SERVICES CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Distinctly Darcy in the amount of $34,232.47 for furniture for
the Parks and Leisure Services Center, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of
Distinctly Darcy of May 23, 1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Distinctly D'arcy for furniture authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 40-88-25-410.
SECTION 4. In order to prevent further delay in
occupancy of this facility, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately
with one reading.
