AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,580.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE
NEW 1994 FORD TAURUS AUTOMOBILE, FOR USE BY THE COMMUNITY
PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, SECTION 8 DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid o
Paducah Ford Inc. in the amount of $13,580.00, for sale to
the City of one new 1994 Ford Taurus automobile for use by
Community Planning and Development Department, Section 8
Division, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Paducah
Ford Inc. of April 13, 1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford Inc. for the purchase
of one new automobile, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure snail cnargea zo

SECTION 4. In order to finalize this purchase
before this vehicle model becomes unavailable, an emergency
t is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
