AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO 1994
FORD TAURUS AUTOMOBILES FROM BILL COLLINS FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF
$26,032.00 FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND
ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
and competitive bidding is not required.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase two Ford Taurus automobiles in the amount of
$26,032.00 from Bill Collins Ford, for use by the Department of
Environmental and Engineering Services, said purchase being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications as
authorized by the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Bill Collins Ford for the purchase of two auto-
mobiles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
the following Accounts, as follows: 55-33-04-440 - $6,508;
01-33-07-440 - $6,508; and 55-33-01-440 - $13,016.00.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
