AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 1994
DODGE VAN FROM CENTRAL CHEVROLET-GEO IN THE AMOUNT OF
$13,011.83 FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, FACILITY
MAINTENANCE DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. BP004288, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase one 1994 Dodge Van in the amount of $13,011.83 from
Central Chevrolet -Geo, for use by the Public Works Department,
Facility Maintenance Division, said purchase being in substan-
tial compliance with the bid specifications as authorized by
the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Central Chevrolet -Geo for the purchase of one
automobile, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-22-06-440.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
