AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,240 WITH
MURTCO MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS INC. FOR INSTALLATION OF A
STORMWATER PUMP AT FLOOD CONTROL PUMP STATION NO. 2
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 96-7-5514, adopted
July 1, 1996, the City approved a contract in the amount of
$110,256 with Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc. for
installation of a stormwater pump at Flood Control Pump
Station No. 2; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$3,240 is required for electrical changes on this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$3,240 with Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc. for electri-
cal changes required for the installation of a stormwater
pump at Flood Control Pump Station No. 2.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Murtco
Mechanical Contractors Inc. is increased to $113,496.00.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 055-3310-532-4245.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
