AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,043.07 AND CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,678.00 WITH CONSOLIDATED CONTRACTORS INC.
FOR RENOVATION OF CHERRY JAYCEE CIVIC CENTER
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Consolidated Contractors Inc. for renovation of the Cherry
Jaycee Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required to upgrade
tile floor and to install bathroom exhaust fans; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required in order to
reduce construction material quantities, which decreases the
original contract price.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the following Change Orders with Consoli-
dated Contractors Inc. for renovation of Cherry Jaycee Civic
Center:
Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $3,043.07 is
required to upgrade tile floor selection to increase
durability.
Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $4,678.00 is
required to reduce the quantities of construction
Y materials, thereby decreasing the original con-
tract price.
These Change Orders are attached hereto and incorporated by
reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Vanguard Contractors Inc. is decreased to $37,652.07.
SECTION 4. This amount shall be credited to
Account No. 62-24-03-415.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
