ORDINANCE NO.2-3�-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND A DEED OF CONVEYANCE CONVEYING
A PARCEL OF REAL ESTATE TO THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, FOR
THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE TRANSPORTATION CABINET, DEPARTMENT
OF HIGHWAYS, FOR A PROJECT GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE PADUCAH WICK-
LIFFE ROAD US 60 PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Memorandum of Understanding and a Deed of Conveyance
conveying a parcel of real estate to the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, for the use and benefit of the Transportation
Cabinet, Department of Highways, for a project generally known
as the Paducah Wickliffe Road US 60 Project, under the terms
and conditions as are deemed necessary and appropriate by the
City Engineer; said property being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point 30.00 feet right of US 60
station 18+60.87; thence north 58 degrees 30
minutes 00 seconds east, 110.50 feet to a point
30.00 feet right US 60 station 19+71.37; thence
south 76 degrees 20 minutes 37 seconds east, 42.31
feet to a point 60.00 feet right of US 60 station
20+01.20; thence south 58 degrees 30 minutes 00
seconds west, 140.43 feet to a point 60.00 feet
right of US 60 station 18+60.78; thence north 31
degrees 19 minutes 57 seconds west, 30.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
The above described parcel contains .086 acres
(3,762 sq. ft.).
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
