AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A HOME FUND GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $586,000 FROM THE KENTUCKY HOUSING CORPORATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR
SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah approved an application
for additional HOME Funds through the Kentucky Housing
Corporation by Municipal Order No. 683, adopted on June 14,
1994; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Housing Corporation requires
the City of Paducah to formally accept said additional funds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby formally
accepts a grant from the Kentucky Housing Corporation for the
Housing Renewal Program in the amount of $586,000.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a letter of commitment, funding agreement and any additional
documents necessary for the City of Paducah to obtain
additional HOME Funds in the amount of $586,000.
SECTION 3. The account number for this project is
08-00-09-901.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS
