AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING SECTION 2-52, ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE ADMINISTRATOR, OF ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 2,
ADMINISTRATION, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-52, Alcoholic Beverage
Administrator, of Article III, Chapter 2, Administration, of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, is hereby
abolished in its entirety.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to KRS 83A.060, the Board of
Commissioners suspends the requirements of a second reading of
this ordinance. As grounds therefor, the Board of Commis-
sioners does hereby declare an emergency to exist as to the
implementation of this ordinance. Specifically, as of this
date the Board of Commissioners has assigned the duties of the
office of the Alcoholic Beverage Administrator to the City
Manager, and accordingly, it is necessary to immediately
abolish the office of Alcoholic Beverage Administrator, and
this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one
reading.
