ORDINANCE NO. 94-11- SO -/-3
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BASE BID OF MIDSTATES
CONSTRUCTION INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $340,199 FOR RENOVATION OF
THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING LOCATED AT 400 SOUTH
SIXTH STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the base
bid of Midstates Construction Inc. in the amount of $340,199,
for renovation of the Paducah Police Department Building
located at 400 South Sixth Street, said bid being in sub-
stantial compliance with the bid specifications and adver-
tisement for bids, and as contained in the bids of Midstates
Construction Inc. of September 20, 1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Midstates Construction Inc. for renovation of
the Paducah Police Department Building, as set out in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 40-16-01-415.
SECTION 4. In order to begin construction on this
project before the onset of inclement weather, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
