AN ORDINANCE IN FURTHERANCE OF ORDINANCE 92-4-4574
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 800 MHZ RADIO EQUIPMENT IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $32,390 FROM MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS AND
ELECTRONICS, INC., FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
( BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes the
purchase of 800 MHz radio equipment in an amount not to exceed
$32,390 from Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc., for
use by the Police Department, said prices, terms and conditions
being in substantial compliance with the original contract
authorized by Ordinance 92-4-4754, passed by the Board of
Commissioners on April 28, 1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc.,
for the purchase of 800 MHz radio equipment.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account Nos. 001-1602-521-42-13 and 013-1611-521-42-13.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
