HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-4-5269175 ORDINANCE #95- j=��-4 9 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Section 3-33, License Term, of Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, of the Code of Ordinances of the Ci of Paducah is hereby a g City y mended to read as follows: Section 3-33 License Term. A license required by this Article shall be issued for sami- anndal annual periods from the fiFst day of july to the day G4 jaRuaFy to the 3Qth day of june, both ORGIusive, first day of July of each year. If an applicant shall apply for a license to engage in any business authorized by this Article for a portion of any semi-sarin,al annual period, the applicant shall pay the entire semi-annwal annual license fee for such privilege in the event the application is made in the period from July 1 through December 31. In the event the application is made in the period of January 1 through June 30, the applicant shall only be required to pay one-half of the annual license fee , SECTION 2. Section 3-40, Malt Beverage License -Fees of Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3-40 Mak Beverage License -Fees. The following kinds of mak beverage licenses may be issued by the City Administrator, the semi annual annual fees for which shall be: (1) brewer's license ...................... $259.90 500.00; (2) distributor's license .................... $1-50.99 300.00; (3) retailer's license ........................ $80.00 150.00; (4) special temporary license, per month or part per month ............................. $25.00. The activities permitted by the above licenses are defined in Chapter 243 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes which is incorporated herein as if set out in full. Nonprofit organizations are exempted from the license fees required by Subsection (4) above. SECTION 3. Section 3-41, Distilled Spirits and Wine Licenses -Kinds; Fees, of Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3-41. Distilled Spirits and Wine Licenses -Kinds; Fees. The following kinds of distilled spirits and wine licenses may be issued by the City Administrator, the semi-aRnual annual fees for which shall be: (1) distiller's license ....................... $259.08 500.00; (2) rectifier's license .................... $4,4 25.00 2 250.00; (3) blender's license ................... $a-,25.90 $2,250.00; (4) wholesaler's license ................... $575:08 $1,150.00; (5) retail package license ................... $3789 750.00; (6) retail drink license ...................... $490.08 800.00• (7) restaurant wine license 400.00; (8) special temporary license, per month or part of month ......................... $82.59 165.00; (9) special private club license ............... $125.09 250.00; (10) nonresident, special agent or solicitor's license .............................. $40.00. The activities permitted by the above licenses are defined in Chapter 243 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes which is incorporated herein as if set out in full. Nonprofit organizations are exempted from license fees required by Subsection (8) above. SECTION 4. All other sections and subsections of Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, of the Code of Ordinances shall remain unchanged. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and become effective upon summary public ion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. R NE B.
