AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94-7-5170
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
RENEWAL WITH WAHL'S EXCAVATING & UNDERGROUND INC. FOR RENTAL OF
VARIOUS EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, by Ordinance No.
93-9-5007, adopted on September 14, 1993, authorized the
execution of a contract with Wahl's Excavating & Underground
Inc. for rental of various equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, by Ordinance No.
94-7-5170, adopted on July 19, 1994, exercised the option to
renew the aforementioned contract; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, by Ordinance No.
95-2-5254, adopted on February 28, 1995, amended this ordinance
to include additional equipment rental; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this contract to
include an additional departmental account number.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Contract Addendum with Wahl's Excavating
& Underground Inc. for rental of the following equipment:
Tractor Scraper $95.00 per hour
Dump Truck (Tandem Axle) 40.00 it
Dump Truck (Tri -Axle) 42.50 it
Excavator 70.00 If
Backhoe 42.50 if
Track Loader 54.00 if
Motor Grader 60.00 If
Pneumatic Roller 42.50 if
Dozer 45.00 it
Dozer (Large) 72.50 if
D-6 Cat Dozer 60.00 "
963 Cat Loader 65.00 "
Dump Trailer 45.00 "
3" Water Pump 11.50 per load

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract renewal with Wahl's Excavating &
Underground, Inc. for the rental of the above -listed equipment,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved in the original contract. Said
'I contract will expire June 30, 1995.
SECTION 3. That Section 3 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"The purchase price for said rental equipment shall
be charged to the following accounts:
Sewer Construction 55-33-05-415
Floodwall 01-33-08-278

Sewer Collection 55-33-02-278
Parks 01-24-02-278
Street Repair 03-22-14-464
Construction 040-8821-536-4231
Wastewater Treatment 055-3303-532-2401"
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
