ORDINANCE NO. 95-4-5266
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE
PROJECT TOTAL COST BY $2,190.10 WITH H & G CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
INC. FOR THE INFORMATION AGE PARK SEWER EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 92-9-4823 to
enter into a contract with H & G Construction Company, Inc. for
furnishing and installing Information Age Park Sewer Extension;
and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 93-10-5025, the City
approved an ordinance for Change Order No. 1 for the above
referenced contract in the amount of $87,263.70, increasing the
total contract price to $913,336.60; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for a
decrease in the amount of $2,190.10 for the balance of final
quantities for final payment and the additional work required to
complete the sewer extension for the Information Age Park Sewer
Extension, decreasing total project cost to $911,146.50.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 2 for a decrease in the
amount of $2,190.10 with H & G Construction Company Inc. for
the balance of final quantities for final payment and the
additional work required to complete the sewer extension,
decreasing total project cost to $911,146.50.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and shall become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
