HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-4-5265ORDINANCE NO. 95-4-5265 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE PROJECT TOTAL COST BY $2,895.54 WITH H & G CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC. FOR THE COLEMAN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with H & G construction Company, Inc. for Coleman Road Improvement Project, authorized by Ordinance No. 93-8-4978, adopted on August 3, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City adopted Ordinance No. 94-7-5173 for a time extension of sixty (60) days; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for a decrease in the amount of $2,895.54 for the balance of final quantities for final payment and the additional work required to complete the sewer extension for the Coleman Road Improvement Project, decreasing total project cost to $1,318,441.44. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2 for a decrease in the amount of $2,895.54 with H & G Construction Company Inc. for the balance of final quantities for final payment and the additional work required to complete the sewer extension, decreasing total project cost to $1,318,441.44. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
