ORDINANCE NO. 95-4-5262
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE USED
1994 AERIAL LIFT TRUCK IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $44,500 FROM
ALTEC INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ -
STREET DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes the
purchase of one used 1994 aerial lift truck in an amount not to
exceed $44,500 from Altec Industries, Inc., for use by the
Public Works Department/Street Division, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Altec
Industries, Inc., dated March 10, 1995.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Altec Industries, Inc., for the purchase of one
used 1994 aerial lift truck, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 50-2202-531-4007.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
