AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES SANDERS
NURSERY INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,601 FOR TREE PLANTING IN
VARIOUS CITY PARKS AND ON VARIOUS CITY PROPERTY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of James Sanders Nursery Inc. in the amount of $10,601sfor
planting trees in various City Parks and on various City
property, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained in
the bid of James Sanders Nursery Inc. of March 6, 1995.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with James Sanders Nursery Inc. for tree
planting as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. This project
is funded by a Small Business Administration Grant administered
by the Kentucky Division of Forestry as follows:
City In -Kind Match (labor) $10,860.00
City Cash Match 601.00
Cash Reimbursement from
Division of Forestry 10,000.00
Total $21,461.00
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 002-2407-534-2307 (001-2402-534-2307).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
