AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 28-10(a) OF ARTICLE I,
CHAPTER 28, STREETS AND SIDEWALKS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 28-10(a) of Chapter 28,
Streets and Sidewalks, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 28-10. Use of skateboards, bicycles, roller
skates and like devices restricted.
"(a) Skateboards and like devices prohibited in
business district. It shall be unlawful for any person to ride
upon or otherwise operate a skateboard or other like device
upon a street or sidewalk located in the business district of
the city. For purposes of this section, the business district
shall be as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point located at the
intersection of the floodwall and the south right-
of-way line of Kentucky Avenue; thence in a westerly
direction along the south right-of-way line of
Kentucky Avenue to the west right-of-way line of 3rd
Street; thence in a southerly direction along the
west right-of-way line of 3rd Street to the north
right-of-way line of Clark Street; thence in.a
westerly direction along the north right-of-way line
f of Clark Street to the west right-of-way line of 7th
Street; thence in a northerly direction along the
west right of -way line of 7th Street to the south
right-of-way line of Broadway; thence in a westerly
direction along the south right-of-way line of
Broadway to the west right-of-way line of 9th Street;
thence in a northerly direction along the west
right-of-way line of 9th Street to the north right-
of-way line of Jefferson Street; thence in an
easterly direction along the north right-of-way line
of Jefferson Street to the west right-of-way line of
3rd Street; thence in a northerly direction along the
west right-of-way line of 3rd Street to the south
right-of-way line of Harrison Street; thence in an
easterly direction along the south right-of-way line
of Harrison Street, if extended, to the city limits
low water mark at the Ohio River; thence in a
southerly direction along the city limits low water
mark to the south right-of-way line of Kentucky
Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along the
south right-of-way line of Kentucky Avenue to the
nt of beainnina.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
