AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BILL SOUTH
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,190 FOR
RE -ROOFING THE MARKET HOUSE THEATRE AND THE PADUCAH COMMUNITY
CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Bill South Construction Company Inc. in the amount of
$19,190 for re -roofing the Market House Theatre and the Paducah
Community Center, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Bill South Construction Company Inc. of
June 27, 1995.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Bill South Construction Company Inc. for
re -roofing as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3_._ This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 040-3316-532-2307.
SECTION 4. In order to complete this project during
this construction season, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately
with one reading.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
