AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SWIFT ROOFING INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,040 FOR RE -ROOFING FIRE STATION NO. 1 AND
REPAIRING AND WATERPROOOFING ROOF AT FIRE STATION NO. 3, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Swift Roofing Inc. in the amount of $26,040 for re -roofing
Fire Station No. 1 and repairing and waterproofing roof at Fire
Station No. 3, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Swift Roofing Inc. of April 6, 1995.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Swift Roofing Inc. for roofing services
as set out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-1802-522-4205.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
