ORDINANCE NO. 95-4-5274
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTIONS 10-49, AND 10-52, CIVIL SERVICE,
OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section
10-49 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City
of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 10-49. Department of Finance.
This department shall
be under the direction and supervision of
the City Treasurer -
Finance Director,
a noncivil service posi-
tion which has heretofore
been created
by separate ordinance.
(a) There is hereby created
and authorized the following posi-
tions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position that
shall be paid upon satisfactory
completion of consecutive years of service,
in this position, and upon recommendation of the
City Manager:

SECTION 2. That Section 10-52, Civil Service, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Sec. 10-52. Public Works Department
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following posi-
tions in the Public Works Department, and the salaries of each position
that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of
service in this
position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

(b) The chief of the maintenance division may designate one main-
tenance specialist in his department to act as a lead man or part-time working
foreman to serve in such capacity at the direction of the chief of the mainte-
nance division. The maintenance specialist so designated shall be paid an
additional $1.00 per hour during such times as the maintenance specialist
designated actually serves in such capacity.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
shall become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
