AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A SUBGRANTEE LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY
HERITAGE COUNCIL FOR A MATCHING SURVEY AND PLANNING GRANT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $4,000, FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION ACTIVITIES IN
THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Heritage Council has awarded
the City of Paducah a matching survey and planning subgrant in
the amount of $4,000 for preservation activities in the City of
Paducah; and
WHEREAS, this subgrant is part of the approved FY
1995 Annual Historic Preservation Program of the KHC which has
been approved for funding by the National Park Service; and
WHEREAS, this subgrant requires a local match in the
amount of $2,667, which shall be paid by Growth, Inc..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Subgrantee Letter of Agreement with the
Kentucky Heritage Council for a matching survey and planning
grant in the amount of $4,000, for historic preservation
activities in the City of Paducah. This grant requires a local
match in the amount of $2,667, which shall be paid by Growth,
Inc..
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
