HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-7-5327278 ORDINANCE NO. 95-7-� 3 a 7 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $205,759.09 FOR THE HILL TERRACE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc. in the amount of $205,759.09 for the Hill Terrace Roadway Improvement Project, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, bid proposal, and as contained in the bid of Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc., dated July 13, 1995. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc. for the roadway project authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-3315-532-2307. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
