AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE DITCH
CLEANING MACHINES FROM ODB MUNICIPAL PRODUCTS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$70,935.00 FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/STREET DIVISION, AND
�f AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is being purchased from a single source supplier for
this equipment, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorizes the purchase of three ditch
cleaning machines from ODB Municipal Products in the amount of $70,935.00 for use by the
Public Works Department/Street Division.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
ODB Municipal Products for the purchase of three ditch cleaning machines, authorized in Section
1 above, according to the specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 001-2202-531-
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
