AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ELEVEN COMPAQ
COMPUTERS FROM COMPAQ COMPUTER CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$27,731.00 FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
VaMREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. BP003762, and
competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to purchase eleven Compaq
computers from Compaq Computer Corporation in the amount of $27,731.00 for use by the
Police Department.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with Compaq
Computer Corporation for the purchase of eleven computers, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-1616-521-
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
