AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 95-7-5313
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
CENTRAL PAVING CO. OF PADUCAH INC. FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT FOR THE 1995-96 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, by Ordinance No.
95-7-5313, adopted on July 11, 1995, authorized the execution
of a contract with Central Paving Co. of Paducah Inc. for
rental of various equipment; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this contract to
include an additional departmental account number.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Central Paving Co. of
Paducah Inc. for rental of the following equipment, at the
following per -hour prices for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year:
Tractor Scraper $95.00
Dump Truck (Tandem Axle) 39.00
Dump Truck (Tri -Axle) 40.00
Excavator 67.00
Backhoe 42.00
Track Loader 52.00
Motor Grader 56.00
Pneumatic Roller 40.00
Dozer 50.00
Dozer (Large) 72.50
Dump Trailer 45.00
Water Pump 80.00
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifi-
cations and advertisement for bids, as contained in the bid of
Central Paving Co. of Paducah Inc. of June 13, 1995.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said rental equip-
ment shall be charged to the following accounts:
Sewer Construction 055-3310-532-4205
Floodwall 001-3308-532-2401
Sewer Collection 055-3302-532-2401
Park Construction 040-8821-536-4231
Street Repair 003-2217-531-4227
Parks 001-2402-534-2401
Wastewater Treatment 055-3303-532-2401
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
