AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FROM IRENE WYNN FOR THE SUM OF $4,500, LOCATED AT 1201
SOUTH 4TH STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, McCRACKEN COUNTY,
KENTUCKY, WHICH PROPERTY WILL BE USED FOR THE COMBINED SEWER
y OPERATION PLAN FOR THE HUSBANDS STREET LIFT STATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a deed for the purchase of real property by the City
of Paducah from Irene Wynn for the sum of $4,500, located at
1201 South Fourth Street in the City of Paducah, McCracken
County, Kentucky. The acquisition of this property is
necessary for implementation of the Recommended Abatement Plan
of the Combined Sewer Operation Plan for the Husbands Street
Lift Station.
SECTION 2. This property is more particularly
described as follows:
Being a part of Lot No. 5, Addition "P", to the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, and lying and being on
the west side of South Fourth Street, and
beginning at the corner of the lot heretofore
conveyed to the City of Paducah by Sallie R.
Morrow, a widow; thence with the west line of
South Fourth Street 78 feet and 8 inches; thence
�d at right angles and in a westerly direction and to
the line of South Fifth Street, 173 feet 3 inches;
thence at right angles and with the east line of
Fifth Street 78 feet and 8 inches to the line of a
lot sold to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by
Sallie R. Morrow, a widow; thence at right angles
and with the line of the aforesaid lot 173 feet 3
inches to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 55-3310-532-4245.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
