AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,300 WITH
FARRIS, HATCHER, TREMPER, & ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR ADDITIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE HILL TERRACE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted Ordinance No. 95-2-5256, authorizing
the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with Farris, Hatcher, Tremper, & Associates, Inc., to
provide professional engineering services in the amount of $18, 200 for the Hill Terrace Roadway
Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah would like to increase the scope of work for the
Hill Terrace Roadway Improvements, and being that this additional work will include roadway,
drainage, and inspection on Ogilvie Avenue from Colonial Drive to Deer Lick Place; and
WHEREAS, this will require additional professional engineering services in the
amount of $17,300 and increase the new contract price to $35,500.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
supplemental agreement with Farris, Hatcher, Tremper, & Associates, Inc., in the amount of
$17,300 for additional professional engineering services for increasing the scope of work of the
Hill Terrace Roadway Improvement Project.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-3315-532-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
