AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,791.00 WITH MURTCO
MECHANICAL, INC., FOR THE MARTIN CIRCLE LIFT STATION REPLACEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 95-2-5251 to enter into a contract
with Murtco Mechanical, Inc., for the Martin Circle Lift Station Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$6,791.00 for the addition of seven individual items for final payment and the additional work
required to complete the Project for the above referenced contract in the amount of $44,224.00,
increasing the total contract price to $51,015.09.
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $6,791.00 with Murtco Mechanical Inc. for the
addition of seven items for final payment and the additional work required to complete the Martin
Circle Lift Station Project, increasing the total cost to $51,059.09.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
