AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,031.25 WITH BILL SOUTH
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., FOR THE RE -ROOFING OF THE MARKET HOUSE
1 THEATRE AND THE PADUCAH COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 95-7-5309 to enter into a contract
with Bill South Construction Co., Inc., for the re -roofing of the Market House Theatre and the
Paducah Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$4,031.25 for the additional work required to complete the re -roofing for the above referenced
contract, increasing the total contract price to $23,221.25.
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $4,031.25 with Bill South Construction Co., Inc.,
for the additional work required to complete the re -roofing of the Market House Theatre and the
Paducah Community Center, increasing the total cost to $23,221.25.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
