HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-12-5423407 ORDINANCE NO. 95-12- 5 R3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1(g) AND SECTION 21, "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES' CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", OF CHAPTER 10, "CIVIL SERVICE", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 1, "Definitions", is hereby to read as follows: ,,(g) "Widow as used in this ordinance shall mean any ybOytiatyi legally married spouse U of an employee, without regard to SECTION 2. That Section 21 is hereby amended to read as follows: "The Board of Trustees of the Appointive Employees' Pension Fund shall have exclusive control and management of the pension fund and of all moneys donated or paid for the relief or pensioning of employees. The membership of said board shall consist of the Mayor, who shall act as Chairman of said Board, the City Manager, and three current or retired employees who shall be elected by AIX appointive employees every two years beginning on the first Monday in January, 1948; however, all members shall serve until their successors are duly elected. The City Treasurer shall serve as ex -officio treasurer of said board but shall not have the right to vote on any question. Not more than one elective member shall be chosen from any one department of the City." SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
