HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-12-5418401 ORDINANCE NO. 95-12- 6'41 S' AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,418.12 WITH CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH FOR THE HILL TERRACE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 95-7-5327 to enter into a contract with Central Paving Company of Paducah for the Hill Terrace Roadway Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was required for an increase in the amount of $72,795.09 for additional roadway construction; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of $26,418.12 for additional excavation and other required materials to complete this project for the above referenced contract in the amount of $278,554.85, increasing the total contract price to $304,972.97. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2 for an increase in the amount of $26,418.12 with Central Paving Company of Paducah for additional excavation and other required materials to complete the Hill Terrace Roadway Project, increasing the total cost to $304,972.97. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
