ORDINANCE NO. 95-11-
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILKINS CONSTRUCTION
CO. INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $286,816.71 FOR THE MORGAN-CORNELL
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT --PHASE I, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Wilkins Construction
Co., Inc., in the amount of $286,816.71 for the Morgan -Cornell Drainage Improvement Project --
Phase I, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in
the bid of Wilkins Construction Co. Inc., dated October 26, 1995.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wilkins
Construction Co. Inc., for the Morgan -Cornell Drainage Improvement Project --Phase I,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated I the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-3305-532-
2307 DR0001.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
