AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,455.01 WITH
MURTCO MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS INC. FOR THE FAIRWAYS SANITARY
SEWER EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Murtco
Mechanical Contractors Inc. for the Fairways Sanitary Sewer
Extension, as authorized by Ordinance No. 95-9-5355 adopted on
September 5, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$5,455.01 is needed for additional materials and repairs, which
will increase the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$5,455.01 with Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc., which is
required for additional materials and repairs for the Fairways
sanitary sewer extension.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc. is amended to $44,666.34.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 055-3310-532-5245.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
