ORDINANCE NO. 95-10-53
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF STRINGFELLOW, INC., IN
THE AMOUNT OF $51,542.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1996 ONE TON SUPER
UTILITY TRUCK FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND
I' I` ~ ENGINEERING SERVICES/WASTEWATER TREATMENT DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Stringfellow, Inc., in the
amount of $51,542.00, for sale to the City of one 1996 one ton super utility truck, for use by the
Department of Environmental and Engineering Services/Wastewater Treatment Division, said bid
being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Stringfellow,
Inc., of June 27, 1995.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Stringfellow for the purchase of one truck, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 055-3303-532-4007.
SECTION 4. In order to finalize this purchase before the bid deadline acceptance
date of October 25 1995, an emer en is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall

become effective immediately with one reading.
