AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 1,000
TONS OF ROCK SALT FROM NORTH AMERICAN SALT COMPANY FOR AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $34,800, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay an amount up to $34,800 to North American Salt Company
for the purchase of 1,000 tons of rock salt for use on city
thoroughfares.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with North American Salt Company for sale to the
City rock salt authorized in Section 1 above. Said contract is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set
out herein.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account
No. 01-22-02-384.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
