AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,637.67
WITH MURTCO MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS INC. FOR HOLT ROAD SEWER
EXTENSION
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 93-9-5013, adopted
September 21, 1993, the City approved a contract in the
amount of $40,869 with Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc.
for the Holt Road sewer extension; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$1,637.67 is required for additional materials required to
complete this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$1,637.67 with Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc. for
additional materials required for completion of Holt Road
sewer extension. This Change Order is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Murtco Mechanical Contractors Inc. is amended to $42,506.67.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 55-33-05-470.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
