AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
HARDWARE FROM SYSTEMS SPECIALIST INC. FOR THE AS/400
COMPUTER SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF $46,416, AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract Number 18710, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized
to purchase computer hardware from Systems Specialist Inc.
for the AS/400 computer system in the amount of $46,416, and
the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to
Account Number 40-01-03-420.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
