AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE QUOTATION OF BUD DAVIS
CONSTRUCTION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $68,717
FOR CONSTRUCTION ON THE SOUTH FOURTH STREET REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the quotation of
Bud Davis Construction & Land Development Inc. in the amount of
$68,717 for construction on the South 4th Street Redevelopment
Project, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
contract for same. This contract is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account No. 03-22-14-464.
SECTION 3 In order to meet government regulations
for completion of this project, which is required to insure
retention of other project funds, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective
immediately with one reading.
SECTION 4. This ordinance will be published by
summary pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
