ORDINANCE NO. 94-12-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
PRO TEM TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$8,718 WITH B.H. GREEN & SON INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
NOBLE PARK ENTRANCE GATES
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 94-6-5130, adopted June
14, 1994, the City approved a contract in the amount of
$98,211 with B.H. Green & Son Inc. for the demolition of old
and construction of new entrance gates to Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$8,718 is required to replace existing broken asphalt
roadway at the park entrance and exit off Park Avenue.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor Pro Tem is hereby authorized
and directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount
of $8,178 with B.H. Green & Son Inc. to replace broken
asphalt roadway at the Noble Park entrance and exit off Park
Avenue.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
B.H. Green & Son Inc. is increased to $106,929.00.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 40-88-21-464.
SECTION 3. In order to repair unsafe roadways at
the entrance and exit to Noble Park, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective
immediately with one reading.
