ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY, AND
COMMERCIAL WASTE DISPOSAL, INC.,
WHEREBY COMMERCIAL WASTE DISPOSAL,
INC., SHALL SERVE AS THE DISPOSAL
CONTRACTOR FOR SOLID WASTE AND CERTAIN
OTHER WASTES.
WHEREAS, the City desires to dispose of its municipal solid
waste, and certain other wastes and to provide for the transportation of
certain recyclable .materials generated within the City; and
WHEREAS, Commercial Waste Disposal, Inc., is a corporation
capable of accepting and disposing of said wastes as the disposal contractor
for the City and County; and
WHEREAS, the City and County and Commercial Waste
Disposal, Inc., have come to an agreement regarding Commercial Waste
Disposal Inc. Is providing such service and have agreed to the terms and
conditions of same;
Kentucky:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City of Paducah,
SECTION I.: That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to
execute a contract by and between the City of Paducah, McCracken County
and Commercial Waste Disposal, Inc., and the City Clerk of the City of
Paducah is hereby authorized and directed, to attest under the seal of the
City of Paducah an agreement which is attached hereto.
SECTION II... This ordinance shall be read on two separate
days and become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS
Chapter 424.
