AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FROM GARY L. AND JENNIFER GAY FOR THE SUM OF $1,500,
LOCATED AT 1516 NORTH 7TH STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
,~ McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, WHICH PROPERTY WILL BE USED FOR THE
EXPANSION OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT FACILITIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a deed for the purchase of real property by the City
of Paducah from Gary L. and Jennifer Gay for the sum of $1,500,
for property located at 1516 North Seventh Street in the City
of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky. The acquisition of
this property is necessary for the expansion of the Wastewater
Treatment Plant facilities.
SECTION 2. This property is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a stake on the east side of Seventh
Street 290 feet from the south line of Terrell
Street and lower corner to the J.D. Yancey lot;
thence with J.D. Yancey's line and parallel with
Terrell Street in a direction toward the Ohio
River 100 feet to an alley; thence with said alley
in a northwestwardly direction 50 feet to Seventh
Street; thence in a westerly direction and
parallel with Terrell Street 100 feet to Seventh
~~-~- Street; thence with Seventh Street and toward
Terrell Street 50 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 055-3310-532-4245.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
