ORDINANCE NO. 95-10- ~3 g
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN WAREHOUSE INC. AND THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A ROADWAY AND EXTENSION OF SEWER
SERVICE BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 60 AND THE PROPERTY LINE OF
WAREHOUSE INC.
~~,'!,,! WHEREAS, Warehouse Inc. desires to develop certain
property it owns adjacent to the Kentucky Oaks Mall property
located in Paducah, Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, to effectuate said improvements, it will be
necessary to develop and construct a street from U.S. Highway
60 to the property line of Warehouse Inc., and to extend sewer
service to the property line of Warehouse Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Warehouse Inc. has requested that the City
assist them in the development and construction of a street
from U.S. 60 to the Warehouse Inc. property line, and to extend
sewer service to said property line; and
WHEREAS, the City is agreeable to providing such
assistance subject to the terms and provisions set forth in an
Agreement between the parties.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
~'~''''~, directed to execute an Agreement between Warehouse, Inc. and
~~-~ the City of Paducah for construction of a roadway and extension
of sewer service between U.S. Highway 60 and the property line
of Warehouse, Inc.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
