AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BLUEGRASS FIRE
EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,608 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
2,100 FEET OF FIRE HOSE, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CON-
TRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid
of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company in the amount of $11,608
for the purchase of 2,100 feet of fire hose to be used by the
Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company of
January 3, 1996.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company for sale to the
City of fire hose authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account
No. 001-1802-522-4013.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two

separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
