CONTRACT FOR SAME

WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. BP007441, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase three 1996 1500 Dodge pickup trucks in the amount of
$40,568.79 from H.A. Jones Buick -Olds Inc., for use by the
Wastewater Treatment and Solid Waste Divisions.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with H.A. Jones Buick -Olds Inc. for purchase of three
pickup trucks, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged as
follows: $13,522.93 to Account No. 055-3303-532-4005, and
$27,045.86 to Account No. 050-2208-531-4005.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
