ORDINANCE NO. 96-3-54/6L/
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF
PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY, AND EASEMENTS, AND PROVIDING FOR SANITARY
SEWER SERVICE FOR THE WOODLANDS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-12-5425 adopted on December 28, 1995, stated
the City's intent to annex the property known as the Woodlands Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the final ordinance annexing this property will be adopted on March
12, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City shall extend sanitary sewer service to the aforementioned
property; and
WHEREAS, the final plat of subdivision of the aforementioned property dedicated
by plat the rights-of-way and easements for public use is recorded in Plat Book "K", page 1300,
in the McCracken County Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that the Board of
Commissioners for the City of Paducah accept the dedication of the aforesaid public rights-of-way
and easements as depicted on the plat, the plans, profiles and cross sections as approved by the
City Engineer in that the dedication would be beneficial to the public interest and necessary for
future development in the area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the dedication of the rights-of-way and easements as depicted
on the final plat of subdivision for the Woodlands Subdivision of record in Plat Book "K", page
1300, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, shall be and is hereby accepted as depicted
on the plat, the plans, profiles and cross sections as approved by the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah shall extend sanitary sewer service to the
aforementioned property.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents
necessary to effectuate the approval of the aforesaid rights-of-way.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
