AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUSCO SPORTS LIGHTING
IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,500.00, FOR LIGHTING MATERIALS ONLY FOR BROOKS
STADIUM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to accept the bid of Musco
Sports Lighting in the amount of $69,500.00 for lighting materials only for Brooks Stadium, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Musco Sports Lighting of April 9, 1996.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Musco Sports Lighting for lighting materials only as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. The aforementioned sum of $69,500.00 will be provided from the
General Fund of the City of Paducah. Pursuant to an agreement between the City and American
Legion Post 31, the City shall receive an annual payment of $12,000 ($1,000 per month) with the
majority of these funds being used to repay the General Fund obligation.
SECTION 4. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
