AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE KENTUCKY JUSTICE CABINET TO OBTAIN A MATCHING GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $312,368.00, FOR THE JACKSON PURCHASE AREA TASK FORCE
WHEREAS the Ci of Paducah desires to obtain a matching ant from the
City g 1�'
Kentucky Justice Cabinet which funds will be used in relation to the Jackson Purchase Area Task
Force.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky Justice Cabinet to obtain a
matching grant in the amount of $312,368.00 for the Jackson Purchase Area Task Force. The
City will provide in-kind matching funds in the amount of $149,109.00 for this project.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. FUND 015.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
