ORDINANCE NO. 96-9 SS��
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE KENTUCKY HERITAGE COUNCIL TO OBTAIN A MATCHING GRANT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500, FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PUBLIC
INFORMATION BROCHURE FOR USE IN THE CITY'S FOUR HISTORICAL
DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to obtain a
matching grant from the Kentucky Heritage Council which will
assist in the cost of producing a public information brochure
for existing and potential homeowners in the four historic
districts of the city.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Grant Agreement and all documents
relating thereto with the Kentucky Heritage Council to obtain a
matching grant in the amount of $2,500, for the development of
a public information brochure which will assist in the cost of
producing a public information brochure for existing and
potential homeowners in the City's four historic districts.
The City will provide in-kind matching funds in the amount of
$1,667.00 for this project.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
U�'J Account No. 001-0000-421-35-00.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
