AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE KENTUCKY JUSTICE CABINET AND THE
CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,161
TO ASSIST IN FUNDING THE ZERO TOLERANCE DUI PREVENTION PROGRAM
FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH
p WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 725, adopted by the
City of Paducah on May 6, 1996, the City approved a Grant
Application to obtain a local matching grant through the
Kentucky Justice Cabinet to assist in funding the DUI
Prevention Program.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a Grant Agreement between the Kentucky Justice Cabinet and the
City of Paducah for a matching grant in the amount of $23,161,
to assist in funding the Zero Tolerance DUI Prevention Program
for the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
